Still kickin'

Wow. I didn't realize how long it's been since I posted here. Just goes to show that ¨real life" can, and will, take over whenever it can. Oh well.

Let's see... What's been happening?

Well, my wife and I finally closed on the house. Actually, houses, since there is the smaller three room house next to this one. It's being used as a studio for my wife, a computer center for me and a place to store all the nails, hammers, drills, etc., etc. It's working out pretty good, too. I really didn't know how many computers I have. It´s sad, really, is what it is. I have everything from a 086 laptop (runs at 5Mhz) to an 800 Mhz computer. I have 5 laptops and 7 desktops (about half of which aren't worth turning on). Of course that doesn´t include the one that the online school sent for my son. Heh.

Anyway...

Uh...

Oh, yeah, I am now a grandfather. My daughter had a baby boy. The only problem was that she had to have a cesarian at six months. It was either that or lose both of them. Tiny little guummbah. Pretty healthy, though. My wife is there (1500 miles away) with her and they have been doing well. The only problem is that I have difficulty going to sleep at night, without her next to me. At least it won't be too much longer. I hope.

Okay. Other than having a pinched nerve that is killing my left leg and the purchase of the houses, there is not really anything else going on. Gads, my life is pretty boring.

Alright, that's enough for now. I guess I should try to update this more frequently. With my son sitting next to me on his computer and me on my computer, I will probably have loads of time to update this thing.

If I can remember to, that is. Heh.

Still about

Yep, I'm still out and about. though not posting here as much as I used to. Guess that's what happens when "real life" takes precedence over "internet life".

No much has happened since I last posted. Still trying to buy the house we are currently living in. Still home-schooling the kid. Fun, but not fun at the same time. My nephew(adopted) has finished school and we are trying to get him some sort of job.

Heck, I haven't even read any of the blogs that I usually read, for quite some time. Like I said, "real life" trumps this stuff, anytime.

Anywho, I guess I'll leave things at that and get back to chasing my wife around the house. Heh.

Stayin' alive??? Maybe, maybe not, hard to tell...

Holy snockerdoodles, Batman!

Boy oh boy have I let things slide. I can't really believe that it's been so long since I posted here. Damn, it's almost like ICQ - I kinda "left" that a while back and haven't been on it for so long I would have to dig old files out to find my number and all. Sheesh.

I don't know why I haven't posted, I just haven't. No special reason, that I can think of, anyway.

Well, life has still moved on for me. I am still taking my meds, in order to have a mental and physical outlook on life that doesn't suck too badly. Still messing with my computers. Oh, if anyone ever reads this - I can tell you that trying to install Windows XP on a computer which has a bad RAM stick is an experience. One you will not forget in a hurry, that's for sure.

Okay, I'm at a deadend here. Got to stop because the music I am listening to is starting to get to me.

Later.
(I hope.)

Yep

Well, dammit. Just plain old dammit.

I can't believe that it's been so long since I posted here. Hell, it's not like I really have that much of a life that keeps me from posting. It's just one day after another, after all.

Oh. There is something new, after all. My wife has started homeschooling our son and she keeps pretty busy with it. I help a little, but I mostly feel like a turd, sitting there with my face hanging out and all. It's working out pretty good, though. The kid is busting his butt for his mom and he has even zipped through some stuff that comes from the GED book! For those that may not know, GED stands for General Education Diploma and that is what a lot of folks take when they don't "officially" finish High School.

Other than that, I seem to be spending most of my time either helping her with bits and pieces of the homeschool thing or on gmail.com reading e-mail and looking at "news" tidbits.

My wife just asked me if it bothered me that she has friends who want to go have coffee and chat. I have absolutely no problem with that! I enjoy the fact that she has friends and I would trust her to the absolute end. If anything, I get a small twinge of jealousy because I don't have any friends in the local area. She does, since she grew up here, but since my hometown is about a 12 hour drive away, I have yet to make any friends here. It also doesn't help that I am basically a trodlodyte and very much the "homebody" and just enjoy the family experiences.

Okay, I don't have anything else that qualifies to be spoken about, so I will end it here.

Mucho Dinero.
